As the festive season got underway, we were delighted to spend time with two local laryngectomy clubs, celebrating Christmas while sharing practical support and information.
Carmarthen Laryngectomy Club
Our visit to the Carmarthen Laryngectomy Club on Thursday 11th December was a brilliant festive meet-up, filled with friendly conversation and seasonal cheer. Members enjoyed taking part in a Christmas quiz, creating a relaxed and sociable atmosphere for everyone involved.
Alongside the festivities, there was an opportunity to take a closer look at SVR and tracheostoma care products, with plenty of discussion around day-to-day management and individual needs. We also shared information about the SevernDIRECT prescription service, highlighting how it supports patients with convenient access to essential products.
Pontyclun Laryngectomy Club
A day later on Friday 12th December, ee also enjoyed a festive get-together with the Pontyclun Laryngectomy Club, with great conversations and plenty of laughs. The Christmas quiz once again proved a popular way to bring everyone together.
Members had the chance to explore a range of tracheostoma care products and learn more about the SevernDIRECT prescription service, with open discussions and questions encouraged throughout the session.
We would like to thank everyone from both clubs who joined us and helped make these Christmas-themed meetings so enjoyable. It was a pleasure to connect, share experiences, and support one another during the festive period.
